It is Saturday Morning. The girls from Oswald Academy arrived by coach last night and have been camping in the grounds of the Uppingham College Campus. They are all set for the days choir competition until one of them makes a discovery. Now they have a mystery to solve as well.

Brief Biographies the girls of Oswald Academy Madrigal Group

Sage Valentine
A member of the Oswald Academy Girls Madrigal Group. She loves singing and is always bursting into song. Her other love is animals and looking after the Biology Department "pets". She had hoped to be made May Queen this year but, alas, it was not to be.

Delores Mander
Known to her friends as Dee. Her father is a business tycoon involved in retail operations. He is known in the city as "Seller" Mander. The fees for Oswald's Academy are quite high, but her father believes to get the best you need to pay a bit more. He feels that the school offers you the best education available.

Jenny Chatter
Another member of the Oswald Academy Girls Madrigal Group. She can sight-read music, so she does not have to spend hours practising songs, unlike some people. She like to write and keep a detailed daily diary.

Scarlet Ribbon
She has the voice of an angel and is usually required to sing solo at school concerts. She is considered by some, yourself herself, to be the most stylish girl in school. She also feels she is only girl on this trip that can hold a tune. She is the reigning Oswald Academy May Queen, but is due to hand over her crown next month. She is also dating Kenny, Captain of the football team.

Cherry Bakewell
Another contestant in the Academy's Queen of the May. There was strong competition for this award this year. She has been dating Bobby, vice captain of the domino team.

Ava Rice
She has the reputation of being a bit clumsy. She does not mean to be careless, but things just seem to slip through her fingers.
